Joanna's Macrame & Poems

FLAME-IN-GO

Lightness, joy, creativity in bloom.

Being your own flamingo:

A Passionate fire of pink magnificence.

Stepping gracefully above muddy waters.

Sensing the harmonious beauty of life.

Symmetry — seeing opposites as one.

The compass shows the cardinal directions,

But it is your wings that take you wherever you choose.

Rose — staying in your own truth,

Trusting innocent softness and Divine guidance.

Making yourself at home, While residing in your own heart.

Allowing freeDOM into life.

TRUTH

Truth - a sacred union.
Standing tall, unapologetic,
not searching for approval.

Truth - the inner knowing,
with time on its side.
Proudly shining like a pearl,
courageous and persistent.

Truth like a spider web
invisible to flies, putting into light
inconsistency and bias.

Truth - abundant in expressions
flowing from within.

Truth - intimate, individual, uneasy,
naked, not playing the games,
unveiling all the soft parts.
Screaming: Look! Look! This is who I am!
I am your deepest reflection,
let go of preconceived perfection!

Truth - shaping life with every drop,
like a river carving its landscape.
Truth - a stepping stone to real life.
Wings which soar above the odds.

Truth - always with me,
in the center, in between.
Truth - a life I choose to be.
